Qu’est ce qu’une Loge de Vigne ?<\/h1>\n

Les \u00ab\u00a0Loges de vignes\u00a0\u00bb, ou \u00ab\u00a0Gaillottes\u00a0\u00bb, sont des petits cabanons diss\u00e9min\u00e9s dans les vignes et qui servaient d\u2019abris autrefois, quand les vignerons se rendaient \u00e0 pied ou \u00e0 cheval aux vignes.<\/p>\n

Elles se sont particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es au XIXeme<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n

Dans la loge, ils laissaient leurs v\u00eatements de pluie, le casse cro\u00fbte du midi, la boisson pour la journ\u00e9e mise au frais dans un grand r\u00e9servoir astucieusement rempli par les eaux de pluie collect\u00e9es. Ce r\u00e9servoir fournissait aussi l\u2019eau n\u00e9cessaire aux traitements, et dans laquelle on laissait tremper, afin de les assouplir, les bottes de joncs servant \u00e0 lier les brins de vigne au printemps.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9laiss\u00e9es, \u00e0 l\u2019abandon, la m\u00e9canisation les a rendues obsol\u00e8tes, mais il en resterait environ deux mille, en plus o\u00f9 moins bon \u00e9tat, t\u00e9moignage d\u2019un pass\u00e9 pas si lointain. Elles sont en passe d\u2019\u00eatre pr\u00e9serv\u00e9es au titre du Patrimoine Historique Fran\u00e7ais. Il en existe de tr\u00e8s jolies, inventives et originales.<\/p>\n
